Collect trays/containers, wipe down condiment bottles, general tidy-up
How to Register

If you find yourself with some time to help closer to the date, please ask to be added to the Hot Lunch Whatsapp to volunteer ad hoc!
You are also welcome to just show up to the multi-purpose room on a hot lunch day and if you have toddlers in tow, you are welcome to bring them along.
Time Commitment
Every Saturday a message will be sent out asking for volunteers on the hot lunch days for the upcoming week.
Volunteer as many times as convenient for you
Also use the Whatsapp chat to let us know if you would like to pick up your child’s lunch if they are sick or away.
If you would like to help with food distribution on the day of hot lunch, then ideally we can use help from 11:30 am – 12:15
Extra hands are always appreciated, even for a shorter time.
On The Lunch Day
Arrive at 11:30am and meet in school lobby
There will be a lead Volunteer there to direct you
Set up 2-3 tables
Bring empty milk crates from kitchen out to tables. They will all be labeled with division numbers. Put them in number order
There will be a milk crate full of milks. Pull each milk and read division number on the label. Place in matching division number milk crate.
Food will arrive from the vendor. Each item will be labeled with child’s name and division number. Place cold food items in milk crates labeled with division numbers.
Place hot food in insulated bags to keep food warm.
Pull out food of children that are absent.
Deliver food to classrooms.
Wait around kitchen incase any children have issues with their lunch.
When 12:15pm bell rings, go and collect milk crates and insulated bags from classrooms.
